The information here is mainly directed to our Lincoln Park resident neighbors. Community Resources (Food, Transportation, Etc.):

AEOA: Arrowhead Transit, Head Start, Housing, Employment and Training, and Senior Services.
Program Changes:
- Head Start classrooms are closing under the Governor’s guidance for schools.
- Tax-Aid sites are closing.
- Food Shelves are moving to a pre-boxed service where customers will drive up and receive their food. Customers should call ahead to reserve their food box.
- The Minnesota Power Conservation Improvement Program is closed until further notice.
- Additional program closures and adjustments may occur as the situation unfolds.

Children’s Museum: Temporarily closed through March 31
CHUM: Offering food distribution through a low contact model, with foods prepackaged and picked up. The Food Shelf is closed 3/17 but will resume normal hours for the Friday pick-up. Lakeside food shelf closed and tax prep services suspended. Gloria Dei warming center is open. They are seeking donations of nonperishable food items.
Damiano Center (monitoring and sanitizing, still open)
Duluth Area Family YMCA: suspending programs and closing facilities beginning March 18th. Only food distribution and essential child care for first responders, health care workers, and essential staff will be provided. Virtual Y has virtual workouts and youth activities.

Safe Haven (Violence Prevention/Intimate Partner Violence)
Salvation Army: “We are also forming plans to elevate our service for working-class families who may be temporarily laid off due to COVID-19. We anticipate they will need additional assistance with food, rent, and utilities. Ensuring the safety of those who depend on The Salvation Army’s programs and services, along with the safety of staff and volunteers, is our utmost priority.”
Second Harvest: Still providing, need volunteers.

Duluth Fire Department: Implementing “Triage from the door,” caution and screening for responder safety. Life safety inspections are being rescheduled, let your landlord know if you’re sick so they can alert inspectors.

Hospital Protocols:
Essentia Health: Individuals are encouraged to use Essentia’s E-visit screening if they are experiencing symptoms and call before coming to a clinic. They are working on drive up testing soon. No visitors are allowed to the hospital.
If you think you have COVID-19:
- Stay home if you are mildly ill, except for medical care. Do not go to work, school or public areas. Avoid public transportation.
- Separate yourself from other people and animals in your home. Use a separate bathroom, if possible.
- Call ahead before visiting your health care provider
- Wear a face mask around others
- Cover your coughs and sneezes, wash hands often
- Clean high-touch surfaces daily
- Older patients and those with severe underlying medical conditions or are immunocompromised should contact their provider early, even if their illness is mild
St. Luke’s
Basic Info:
- The vast majority of patients who have COVID-19 will have mild symptoms that require no treatment.
- Testing for COVID-19 is limited only to symptomatic patients who have traveled or have been exposed to an individual with the disease.
- The treatment for most people with COVID-19 is to stay home, away from other people, be diligent about hygiene and rest. There is no current cure for COVID-19.
- You should be evaluated by a medical professional if you have a fever AND cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Call your health care provider or visit slhduluth.com/eCare for an online visit.

School Information:
- Schools are closed until March 27.
- Free childcare for health workers and first responders
- Free breakfast and lunch being provided to kids 18 and under with drop off locations throughout the city March 18-27
Transportation:
Duluth Transportation Authority: some adjustment to routes and schedules, but trying to remain open

**Effective Wednesday March 18th**
The DTA is removing fares from all of our bus service (including STRIDE Paratransit). This free service will continue until we provide information otherwise. This is in an effort to allow for social distancing and limited surface contact on our transit vehicles.
DTC Hours are now:
- 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday – Friday
- 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday
- 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday
Substance Use Disorders, Addiction, and Recovery:
