LSC Living Lab
The LSC Living Lab, launched in 2019, is a regenerative agriculture living classroom for the Eco-Entrepreneurship degree program at Lake Superior College in Duluth. It features a two-acre farm with approximately 6,000 feet of greenhouse space located on campus. Students can get hands-on learning while also getting to experience leading sustainable agriculture production methods as well as associated processing, marketing and distribution systems.
The college also offers produce for sale to employees, students, and community members twice a week at an on-campus farmer’s market. Currently, there are more than 60 varieties of vegetables and fruits growing with more than 20,000 plants under cultivation.
