Join Ecolibrium3 and our partners in a week of events, learning, and service in the second annual Eco3 Earth Week from Tuesday, April 19 to Saturday, April 23! 


April 19

Lunch & Learn Webinar: Actions for Business
Noon - 1:00 pm

Join us to learn how local businesses are taking action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and what other businesses can do to complete actions found in the Duluth Citizens' Climate Action Plan. Ecolibrium3's CEO Jodi Slick will moderate a panel featuring Chris Benson from Frost River speaking about implementing solar on their building, Daniel Cebelinski from Essentia Health speaking about implementing sustainable building design in their new medical facility, and Medina Mercer from maurices speaking about their efforts to build a more sustainable supply chain.

Lincoln Park Art Walk & Eco Talk
6:00 - 7:30 pm

Join Shannon Laing, Main Street Lincoln Park Program Director and Lincoln Park Art Walk Instigator, for an in-person visit to some of the public art pieces that are part of the new Lincoln Park Art Walk. Learn how art helps build a walkable neighborhood and learn about the climate-thoughtful actions the neighborhood is supporting and building on every day.

Lunch & Learn Webinar: Actions for Environmental Justice
Noon - 1:00 pm

Advancing climate and clean energy goals must be accomplished using an equity lens. Jodi Slick, Ecolibrium3's CEO, will share the vision of a clean energy future that is built upon social and environmental justice work in Lincoln Park, a Justice40 community. Learn about how one neighborhood is defining approaches for a more just and sustainable future.

April 21

Lunch & Learn Webinar: Actions for Solar
Noon -1:00 pm

Join us to hear from community partners working to advance community solar. Bret Pence from Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light will speak about how people are coming together for group solar buys and barriers to solar access, Peter Lindstrom from Clean Energy Resource Teams will speak about advancing solar on schools statewide, and Tanya Jackson and local ISD709 students will speak about local efforts to put solar on Duluth’s school buildings.

Spring Solar Panel Tilt
5:15 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us for the Spring Solar Tilt at the Lincoln Park Community Solar Garden (tilting begins at 5:30). The panels are tilted twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, to maximize solar production. No registration required!

Lunch & Learn Webinar: Actions for Climate
Noon - 1:00 pm

Join us to learn more about the Duluth Citizens' Climate Action Plan and actions you can take locally for climate. This will be a participative webinar to help you take action today! Join one of the breakout rooms: timely actions; actions for beginners; business actions; or actions you can take with friends, family, or neighbors.

A Day of Climate Actions

Help us make Earth Day a day of climate action! Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter where we'll be sharing actions you can take throughout the day. Help us build momentum for change by sharing the actions you are taking with the hashtag #DuluthClimateAction.

Shadow Gardening Family Activity
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Are you sneaky? Can you hide in the shadows? Do you want to make the world more beautiful? Then join us for Shadow Gardening – an event for the whole family! Create your own Wildflower Seed bombs with us, then your super-secret mission will be to locate areas in your community that need some color and life, then SPLAT – you set your colorful trap!
This activity will take place on the sidewalk in front of the Ecolibrium3 Superior Street office at 2014 W Superior Street. No registration required.

Main Street Lincoln Park Spring Clean Up
10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Want to contribute to the beauty and cleanliness of our neighborhood? 
Help us build a cleaner and healthier community by volunteering to tackle out-of-control waste. Join us as we all come together to clean up litter in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
