We’re excited to announce that Eco3 is expanding its AmeriCorps VISTA Cohort with 6 new positions in February 2021! Our VISTA members will serve for a year with a partner organization, helping them build the capacity to address poverty.

Our Spring 2021-2022 AmeriCorps VISTA positions are:

Development Director VISTA with Age Well Arrowhead

Build capacity in a growing nonprofit serving older adults by creating dynamic fundraising campaigns, evaluating organizational processes and procedures, and by leading the development of new programs to meet community needs.

Professional Development Team Leader with Ecolibrium3

Build the capacity of the Ecolibrium3 VISTA Corps members and community project sites by building member skills and facilitating members’ growth, while leading interventions to assess and improve members’ professional development skills.

Communications Team Leader with Ecolibrium3

Build the capacity of the Ecolibrium3 VISTA Corps members and community project sites by building member skills and facilitating members’ growth, while leading internal and external communications and building community awareness.

Family Freedom Center Outreach Coordinator VISTA with the Family Freedom Center

Join a team empowering the Black community by reconstructing cultural and socio-economic narratives, providing alternative education programs and community resources, and unapologetically embracing what it means to be Black.

Development Coordinator VISTA with Family Rise Together

Build resources for Family Rise Together, which provides support for fathers and brings families together by engaging parents in their children’s lives to establish family values, social roles and participation in the community.

Food Sovereignty VISTA with the Fond du Lac Reservation

Serve on the Fond du Lac Reservation working on the Band’s food sovereignty efforts and the development of a new Agricultural Division, with duties including program development, Tribal based training, and grant writing. Other potential projects could include some comprehensive planning, transportation plan update and pedestrian/bike trail development.

Tribal Health Research and Outreach VISTA with the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health

Assist with data collection, coordination, and implementation of public health and research projects with the Center for American Indian Health who works in partnership with tribal communities to design public health programs that raise the health status, self-sufficiency, and health leadership of Native people.
