Now Hiring: New Food Corps Positions Available!

We’re happy to officially announce the launch of our third AmeriCorps program at Ecolibrium3! On top of our existing AmeriCorps VISTA and Energy Training Corps programs, we’re adding the Ecolibrium3 Food Corps to help us tackle food insecurity in our region.

The Food Corps is a direct-service AmeriCorps program, similar to the Energy Training Corps, to increase access to local, healthy foods in our community through a variety of agricultural, natural resources management, and community engagement activities.

Members joining the Food Corps can expect to receive robust training and gain relevant experience throughout their service. Example activities for members could include farming at the Eco3 Urban Farm, supporting community programming at the soon-to-open LNPK Grocery Store, performing invasive species management in community green spaces, and more.

And, we’re recruiting for the Corps now! We are looking for Food Access Crew Member applicants for our upcoming start dates of April 6, 2026, and June 1, 2026

The April 6th start positions will assist in preparations for the Eco3 Urban Farm summer season, and serve alongside our June 1st positions, which will support activities during the peak farming season. We intend to offer more positions this fall, as well, in a few different roles.

We’re thrilled to bring this extra capacity to our community to tackle one of the most pressing challenges we face.

If you’re interested in supporting your community and have a passion for healthy foods and natural resources, reach out to us! For any questions about the program and our application process, please contact our AmeriCorps team at americorps@ecolibrium3.org.
