Earth Week is back for 2025! From April 22 to 26, Eco3 will host a series of engaging and impactful events. Eco3 is looking for sponsors, volunteers, and exhibitors to support Earth Week, showcase their organization’s missions, and connect with community members by tabling at EcoFest.
Updates on the Eco3 Legacy House have continued throughout the fall of 2024 and into 2025, propelling the building closer to a fully livable home for future VISTAs. Read more about the completion of sheetrock and plumbing installations, and what next steps entail for the house.

The National Day of Service is a time for VISTA members to come together for a common cause. This January, our VISTAs supported the NAACP Martin Luther King Day celebrations. See how our community marked this important day together.
Construction has begun on the former senior center at 2014 W 3rd St., scheduled to reopen in the spring of 2025 as the Lincoln Park Hub. This center will be an accessible gathering space for residents, with indoor bicycle parking, meeting alcoves, and a public computer lab.
Applications for Eco3’s SEE Justice Fellowship will open February 1. This one-year program is designed for community members to lead sustainability efforts, strengthen communities, and drive equity-focused change.
Eco3 partnered with the program Walk with Ease to host a 6-week wellness class that works to promote community member engagement and encourage movement. Learn more about how this collaboration has made a positive impact at Eco3 and in the Lincoln Park community.
Staff from maurices partnered with Eco3 during the company’s Day of Caring. Volunteers helped prepare the Lincoln Park Hub for its reopening to the public by painting and moving furniture.
