EPA Great Lakes Toxicology and Ecology Division Laboratory

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Great Lakes Toxicology and Ecology Division Laboratory (GLTED) is located in Duluth. It studies the effects of water pollution on fish, wildlife and ecosystems. GLTED’s main focus is on freshwater coastal ecology and strengthening the resiliency of our ecosystems to our human flow of chemicals.
