Rural Renewable Energy Alliance

The Rural Renewable Energy Alliance (RREAL) is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to making solar energy accessible to communities of all income levels. RREAL combats energy poverty by providing solar energy systems for homes, affordable housing projects, and community solar arrays. Through the Solar Assistance program, RREAL provides solar arrays for low-income families and communities to ensure that everyone can have access to safe, clean, and reliable energy.

In addition, RREAL’s Education and Community Outreach (ECO) program is building an inclusive clean energy workforce by providing experiential learning opportunities for learners of all ages. These programs include solar educational opportunities in schools and community groups and training members of the low-income communities they serve.
