Dear City Councilor,
I’m writing to share my support for the Duluth Citizens’ Climate Action Plan (https://www.ecolibrium3.org/duluthclimateaction/) and ask that you support it too.
I am proud that the City of Duluth adopted a goal of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions 80% by 2050 as part of its Imagine Duluth 2035 Comprehensive Plan. This is important movement for our city! However, City emissions are only 4% of community-wide emissions. We need to spread this goal community wide to reduce our emissions by over 2 million tons, or 25 tons per citizen.
