Bus Bike Walk Month is a month-long series organized by Zeitgeist that encourages “people-powered modes of getting around” through education, fun events, family and community gatherings, engaging with elected officials and policy makers, and local businesses. It promotes using these types of transportation for work, errands, recreation, shopping, and school.
The signature event on Bike to Work Day is a bike ride with the mayor from City Hall to a local establishment for a luncheon, which includes a keynote speaker and a “state of bicycling in Duluth” address by the mayor. This event is made possible by the many sponsors and partners of Zeitgeist and the Bus Bike Walk Month event.
